Risk Management

Risk frees you from the complacency, forces you to grow and puts situations into perspective.

Live life by getting out of your comfort zone. A comfort zone keeps us safe and desensitized from hardship. Our brain does everything in its power to keep us alive. It keeps us from taking risks, but can impede personal growth.

Win Hof redefined the definition of human being. Hof defies all odds with the way he is able to push his body to do extreme feats. Take a look at a few of them.

Hof climbed Mt. Everest with nothing but shorts and shoes.

Hof was immersed in ice for 1 hour, 52 minutes and 42 seconds.

Hof reached the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro in his shorts within two days.

The wonderful thing is that his actions are replicable which means that he is not simply a freak of nature. Did he stay in his comfort zone? Did he listen to his mind telling him that he’ll die? He developed a technique to survive extreme temperatures and passed the scrutiny of science.

In the same way, think about taking the risk that you’ve always wanted. Then, develop yourself and take action. Remember to be smart.  Know the consequences of your actions. Large risks come with it the responsibility of owning up to the results. When it comes to something like taking up dance, becoming a full time singer, professionally playing soccer, all have inherent risks. People may ridicule or make fun of you for doing it. They may say it is not practical, but life is not practical. In a world of madness, sometimes you just have to push yourself and do it.

Take the risk! Do what your passionate about!
